Jesuit Refugee Service SouthEast Europe (JRS-SEE), a non-profit humanitarian association, is seeking to recruit a Project Coordinator on a 6-month probationary contract (with the possibility of extension to an indefinite term). The Project Coordinator will assess the needs of refugees and migrants, and develop actions, practices, and services for them in the JRS Day Center.

Position Summary | The Project Coordinator will oversee the planning and organization of daily activities at the Day Center in Bihać. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure effective project management and delivery of services to vulnerable groups, particularly migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.. |
Key Responsibilities | · Planning and Organizing Daily Activities: Responsible for planning and coordinating daily activities within the Day Center to ensure a structured, supportive environment for beneficiaries. · Coordination of Non-Food and Food Item Distribution: Ensuring that essential non-food and food items are available and appropriately distributed to beneficiaries. Managing stock levels to guarantee sufficient supplies at all times. · Providing Support to Beneficiaries: Offering assistance to center beneficiaries based on their needs and concerns. Ensuring the environment is positive, safe, and conducive to their well-being. · Collaboration with Team Members and Field Organizations: Working closely with other team members and collaborating with external organizations to ensure the smooth implementation of project activities. · Organizing and Leading Thematic Workshops: Developing and leading workshops on various themes relevant to the beneficiaries, tailored to meet their specific needs. · Data Collection and Reporting: Collecting and analyzing data on the number of beneficiaries and their participation in activities. Providing regular reports to the Program Manager. · Participating in Activity Evaluation and Improvement: Actively contributing to the evaluation of current activities and suggesting improvements to enhance their effectiveness and adapt them to the needs of beneficiaries. · Maintaining Regular Communication with Partners and Donors: Ensuring consistent communication with relevant partners and donors to secure ongoing support and funding for the project. |
